Participation in the Grand Rounds Symposium is a required component of our AuD program. At the end of winter quarter, second-year graduate students deliver individual presentations to the Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) department. Students select their preferred creative format, such as infographics, podcasts, PowerPoints, or videos. Presentations highlight students’ clinical experiences with audiologic cases, research findings, complex topics, and their clinical applications, contributing to community and peer preparedness. This symposium fosters critical thinking, reflection, clinical decision-making, research proficiency, and communication skills, while also promoting peer learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, faculty feedback, and mentorship from third-year students.
